One Direction WOW Millions At The Kids Choice Awards

Global superstars 1D gave a knock-out performance at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards last night in Los Angeles, to a packed audience.
Making their debut appearance at the event, the boys belted out their smash-hit song “What Makes You Beautiful”, melting the hearts of teenagers world-wide.
Looking ever-more like the seasoned professionals they’ve become, they were given a fantastic introduction, and tension was built up to a fever-pitch before they appeared on stage.

The eagle-eyed (or eared?) of you will notice Harry Styles fluffing his lines in his solo towards the end of the song, but despite that slight mishap, the reaction from the watching crowd was nothing less than amazing.
Harry suffers from stage-fright on occasions (though you wouldn’t know it at times!), so we hope this latest slip doesn’t affect him too much. Chin up Harry, we love you!

The celebs were all out at the event, with rising Nick star Rachel Crow commmenting on One Direction saying: “I love them, they are amazing and their songs are amazing and they are the nicest of guys. I love them all my favourite changes daily.”
Kelly Osbourne gave her verdict on them: “They are so amazing and they are so lovely and it makes me so happy – it’s like the Brits taking over I love it.”
Australian star Cody Simpson also commented about the staggering rise to fame of the Brits, saying: “I don’t feel threatened by them. I think there is a place for all of us.”

Giving their own commentary on the night, Niall Horan tweeted: “The kca’s were amazing! really fun day met a lot cool people.and to top it off met the first lady of the US and the girls..amazing experience.”
Harry Styles said: “That was a lot of fun..thanks for having us KCA’s!! I feel incredibly lucky to have the life I do..I met some amazing people today. And had a lot of fun. Thank you so much.”
And it seems that they managed to avoid a potential sliming too, with Zayn breathing a sigh: “Glad I escaped the slime!”
Finally, Liam Payne tweeted KCA Blimp winner Taylor Lautner, asking the Twilight star for some gym help: “@TaylorLautner hey just wanted to say congratulations on your butt kicker award and I need your help in the gym thanks Liam.”
